(LASV-R-0062) LASV NP, C-term, Δ 340 lineage VI

WB analysis of C-terminus D340 LASV NP, Togo/2016/7082 (VI) (lane 4), N-terminus 1 – 340 (lane 3), and control LASV NP Josiah N-terminus (lane 2), all produced in E. coli. The expected 28 kDa C-terminal fragment was purified by NiNTA and IEX and detected with Goat a-NP polyclonal raised against LASV NP Josiah (panel A), mouse Mabs 1474 and 100LN (panel B), and a MAb a-HIS (panel C). Polyclonal antibodies raised against LASV Josiah NP (FL) cross react in WB with N- and C-terminal fragments of LASV Togo/2016/7082 NP. NP-specific MAbs 1474 and 100LN, both raised against full length LASV Josiah NP, only detect the N-terminal fragments (panel B), consistent with the cross-reactivity pattern observable with NPs from all clades tested to date. Ladder (lane 1) is MagicMark XP western blot standard.
